UzLiDeP opinion: Hard work of farmers helps them to record high achievement

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Farmers of Uzbekistan this year produced 8 million tonnes of grain and executed their annual agreement liabilities, which is the record figure for history of the country.

Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, which represents farmers and businesses, congratulates the farmers, who achieved such high result.

Sharof Amonov, member of UzLiDeP faction, said that it is pleasant to see that members of the party among those farmers, who achieved high results.

He said that UzLiDeP believed that the achievement is result of hard work of farmers. Despite difficult climate conditions and effective measures on agriculture, the farmers were able to produce rich crop.

UzLiDeP member said that the rich crop is guarantee for abundance in the country. He recalled that farmers will keep 60% of crop for their own needs.

Polat Reymov, member of UzLiDeP faction, recalled that Uzbekistan faced flour shortage in the beginning of the independence and the country overcame these difficulties. The country produced 8 million and 50,000 tonnes of grain this year.

He said that reforms in agriculture sector, carried out in Uzbekistan, helped to achieve grain independence. He said that now Uzbekistan starts to export grain and flour.

Bahodir Tajiev, chairperson of Khorezm regional Council of UzLiDeP and chairperson of Farmers Council of Khorezm region, said that success shows that farmers movement is becoming real power, which can solve any issues of agriculture development.

He said that UzLiDeP will continue to focus its efforts in further developing farmers’ movement and stimulate their work, train skilled farmers, etc.
