UzLiDeP MPs Group consider reports of agriculture sector officials

At the session, the MPs considered reports of the corresponding departments and organizations on implementation of agreements, signed by farmers, agriculture equipment service organizations, processing enterprises and others.

Deputy director of Samarkand regional branch of Uzqishloqhojaliknashlizing Nematullo Nasirov provided information on preferential leasing services, provided by the company, on leasing of agriculture equipment.

Nasirov said that the country is paying attention to production of food products and agriculture goods through leasing agriculture equipment.

It was said that Samarkand branch of leasing company so far leased 4,545 units of equipment for 81.143 billion soums. This year, it is planned to supply 484 equipment to farmers on leasing.

Director of regional center for protecting plants ALisher Ismoilov briefed the participants on providing services to farmers on protecting plants from various diseases.

He said that the center signed agreements on supply of chemical products for 7 billion soums to 4,147 farmers in 2014 and biological products for 1.671 billion soums to 1,482 farms.

This year, the farmers received chemical equipment for 3.5 billion soums to fight weeds and diseases of the plants at 108,700 hectares of lands.

The session underlined that currently the work on protection of cotton fields is underway and the farmers are receiving chemical and biological plants.

Deputies of UzLiDeP underlined that it is necessary to continue work on leasing equipment to farmers and protection of plants. It was said that public control should be conducted on regular basis in this area.

MPs adopted corresponding decisions on all considered issues.
