UzLiDeP hold dialogue on attracting youth to innovation sector

Executive Committee of Political Council and Khoream branch of Council of Liberal-Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) held a dialogue titled “Work with youth in innovation sphere – social orders to entrepreneurs” at Urgench branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
Members of UzLiDeP faction at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, regional Council of the party, teachers and students of the universities in Khorezm region attended the event.
The event is aimed at ensuring active participation of businesses and graduates of educational establishments in developing innovative ICT, training youth to internet business, export products with use of ICT, etc.
The party noted that its Youth Wing implements several projects, which help to attract more and more youth to the UzLiDeP. Currently, Council of UzLiDeP in Khorezm region has 11,474 members, of them 50% are youth.
At the meeting, the participants considered introduction of innovations to the business process and promote perspective ideas.
The participants noted that ICT are playing more and more role in economic growth of the countries and education of the population.
It was underlined that investments directed to information-communication technologies are oriented to creation of new jobs, improving life standards of population, training highly skilled specialists, etc. The investments are giving their fruits.
