UzLiDeP helps to develop family entrepreneurship
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Namangan regional Council of the Liberal Democratic Party (UzLiDeP) held a seminar within the party’s project “From family entrepreneurship – to firm family”. Representatives of businesses and farmers, who participated in city and district stages of the party, attended the event.
Uzbekistan pays great attention to development of small and private businesses, provides preferences. The law “On family entrepreneurship” was adopted recently.
Adurauf Abdurakhmonov, representative of the department of Central Bank in the region, said that commercial banks play key role in development of small and private businesses. He said that in last five months of 2014, the commercial banks issued 80 billion soums to support businesses. About 10 billion soums were issued to businesswomen.
Information centers of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry provide legal and organizational assistance to the businesses. Over 1,300 business entities received consulting services on registration and development of business plans. About 75% of them were women.
During the seminar, the participants received information on creation of new small and private businesses, preferences and benefits, provided to them.
At the end of the event, about 27 businesswomen received certificates to obtain preferential loans from commercial banks.
