UzLiDeP faction considers several draft laws

MPs considered a draft law “On introduction of changes to article 12 of the law “On microfinancing”, which will be considered at the second reading. UzLiDeP said that the draft law will help to create additional conditions for developing small and private businesses through improving their access to financial resources.

The document envisages to decrease term of consideration of credit application from ten to three days. Adoption of the draft law will improve business and investment climate, developing entrepreneurship.

UzLiDeP considered a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with adoption of the law “On ecologic control”, which was initiated by MPs of the Legislative Chamber.

The document is directed at harmonizing legislation of Uzbekistan with the law “On ecologic control”.

UzLiDeP considered a draft law a draft law “On mandatory insurance of civil liability of transporters” in the first reading.

National legislation has no legal document, which regulates civil liability for damage to health of passengers and their property.

The draft law guarantees compensation of damages to life, health and property of passengers at transportation by all types of transport in Uzbekistan through insuring civil liability of transporters.

MPs discussed a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with adoption of the law “On mandatory insurance of civil liability of transporters”.

The document will abolish “On mandatory personal insurance of passengers of air, railway, internal water and automobile transport of general use”.

It also abolishes article 110 of the Air Code of Uzbekistan, article 28 of the law “On automobile transport” and article 25 of the law “On railway transport”. It also amends the law “On mandatory insurance of the civil liabilities of vehicle owners”.

UzLiDeP adopted corresponding decisions at the end of the meeting.
