UzLiDeP: Enterprising women support of society

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, Tashkent city council of UzLiDeP organized a business forum of enterprising business women aimed at provision of support for dissemination advanced experience of businesswomen who have achieved a great success in the sphere of small business and private entrepreneurship, involvement them to the party projects and assist them to receive soft loans from commercial banks for the formation of start-up capital or expansion of existing business.

Participants in the event exchanged views on the organizational and legal basis for small business and private entrepreneurship, particularly family entrepreneurship, on ways of using privileges and preferences being created, on the bank credit policy and on the drawing up of collateral documents.

As part of the forum, the city stage of the businesswoman -2016 contest took place. Enterprising women selected at the district stage of the contest displayed their knowledge and ability on such requirements as the creation of new jobs through setting up industrial production, the provision of services for the population, the production of export-oriented goods and active participation in the party’s events.

— I’m doing my business for 15 years, - said the head of Ltd “Retail store equipment” R. Ysupova. — Today we produce about 50 kinds of products and sell them on the local market. We bought new equipment and thus created new jobs. At present we have 100 workplaces where women mainly work. I’m going to continue to develop and contribute to the development of our country.

Diplomas and memorable gifts were given to the contest’s winners and active propagation workers for projects being conducted by the women’s wing of the party such as “Healthy families are strong families” and “From family entrepreneurship to strong family”.
