UzLiDeP ensures active participation in the implementation of the Decree

At the same time, UzLiDeP based on its program goals and objectives, is a supporter of the continuation of structural reforms in the economy and ensuring its competitiveness.

Decree of the Acting President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev «On additional measures to ensure the accelerated development of entrepreneurial activity, comprehensive protection of private property and substantial improvement of business climate» has become an important stage in further deepening and raising efficiency of the ongoing work in this direction.

In this regard, on October 10, 2016 the Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP and its faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis held an extended meeting to discuss and work out practical measures for active participation of the party in the implementation of this Decree at places.

As noted at the meeting, this approved decree is aimed primarily at further strengthening the legal protection of private property, creation of favorable conditions and comprehensive support for small business and private entrepreneurship, increasing the investment attractiveness of the Republic and is a clear evidence of the transition of state policy in this sphere to a qualitatively new level.

The speakers focused their attention on the fact that the implementation of the decree is aimed at preventing the initiation and conduct of illegal inspections, particularly cases of unjustified suspension of the activity of businesses and causing losses due to illegal actions by workers of state organs.

In these circumstances, UzLiDeP have to strengthen the forms of parliamentary control over the execution of laws in the sphere of protection of rights and legitimate interests of businesses to enhance the parliamentary control over public authorities. According to the document is planned to establish the institution of the Commissioner for the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of entrepreneurs under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

UzLiDeP faction will make appropriate amendments to existing legislation, namely to the Penal code, the Code of Uzbekistan on administrative responsibility, the Tax code and other laws.

Another important direction of party work is to conduct a broad awareness-raising work of new mechanisms of this decree among the electorate of the party.

It was noted at the event, this decree fully meets the interests of UzLiDeP electorate, because it is aimed primarily at further strengthening the legal protection of private property, creation of favorable conditions and comprehensive support for small business and private entrepreneurship, increasing the investment attractiveness of the Republic. This imposes a special responsibility on the party, therefore UzLiDeP will make all its forces to implement the provisions of this decree in practice.
