UzLiDeP discusses party’s tasks

The event was attended by MPs of Legislative Chamber and Councils of local deputies, heads of territorial Councils of the Party, farmers and businesses, etc.

The participants discussed party tasks, outlined in the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov “On preparation and organization of celebration of the state independence of Uzbekistan”.

The video conference discussed achievements of Uzbekistan during independence years, reforms in public-political, cultural-spiritual life of the country. It was noted that the UzLiDeP was formed due to result of Uzbekistan’s Independence.

Uzbekistan carries out reforms to protect interests and freedoms of people. Uzbekistan also works on strengthening economy.

The country annually creates about 1 million jobs. About 35,000 multiple-discipline farms and businesses are actively participating in this process.

It was underlined that medium class is interested in further deepening and sustainable development of Uzbekistan. Medium businesses and private entrepreneurship become guarantee of social and political stability in the society and powerful force in development of the state.

The participants discussed preparations to celebration of the 23rd anniversary of Independence Day of Uzbekistan. The party, which unites 220,000 members, discussed its tasks within implementation of the presidential resolution n celebration of the holiday.

It was underlined that it is necessary to discuss and promote achievements of Uzbekistan at the roundtables, meetings and dialogues.

The party members discussed issues of preparations to upcoming parliamentary elections to local Council of Deputies and Legislative Chamber.

It was noted that the list of 52,000 active members of the party was developed and some 9,000 supervisors and 9,000 authorized representatives were trained. The party said that it is necessary to strengthen attention to this issue in some regions.

UzLiDeP members discussed existing problems in places and execution of priorities of the party, preparation of analytical materials on efficiency of reforms, etc.

The corresponding decisions were adopted at the end of the meeting.
