UzLiDeP continues to implement project “Entrepreneur student 2014”

The regional stage of the contest was held in Jizzakh region, which was attended by MPs from UzLiDeP, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Regional Department of secondary special, professional education, 39 winners of the city and district stages of the contest.

The event also included an exhibition of the products, produced by the participants of the contest. The jury carefully studied the products and rated them.

Olim Norjigitov, head of the department of regional Council of UzLiDeP on work with youth, said that the contest is organized among students of academic lyceums and professional colleges. Over 340 students participated in the contest last year, this year their number reached 490, he added.

He said that the contest helps to improve knowledge of the students on doing business, developing their businesses, creating new jobs, etc.

Student of Zarbdor Economic Council Sarvinoz Musurmonova won the first place with a business project “Creation of miniature production from straws, producing various flowers and developing straw art”. He noted that the special stipend of the party, which is given to the winner of the republican stage of the contest, is important stimulus to attract youth to entrepreneurship activities.
