Members of the party faction at the Legislative Chamber, MPs from local Councils of People’s Deputies and partner organizations participated at the event.
Currently, the relations in state property are regulated by the Constitutions of Uzbekistan, Civil Code, Land Code, Tax Code, Habitation Code, law “On property of Uzbekistan”, “On state bodies in places”, “On renting” and other legislative documents. At the same time, some issues on management of the state property should be improved.
Fahriddin Soliev, member of UzLiDeP faction at Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, said that the document was developed within the Concept on further democratic reforms and forming civil society in the country”.
He said that the document reflects norms on rehabilitating system of management of the state property – from purchase of property to state ownership till abolishment of the state property. It is also aimed at raising responsibility of the state bodies on effective use of the state property. It also clarifies the responsibilities of the state bodies.
The document includes norms, related to organization of the state enterprise and state establishments, their management bodies, rights and liabilities of these companies.
The draft law is directed at further strengthening main goals and tasks, principles and mechanisms on management of the state property.
The document was developed based on experience of such countries as Germany, France and Spain. UzLiDeP members noted that adoption of the law will help to raise efficiency of state property management in Uzbekistan.
The participants shared their proposal and recommendations on further improving the draft law.
