UzLiDeP consider implementation of state programme “The Year of Healthy Children”

MPs, members of Executive Committee of UzLiDeP, experts and specialists participated in the session, which considered participation of the party in implementation of the state programme “The Year of Healthy Children”.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov announced 2014 as the Year of Healthy Children, which was supported by public. Islam Karimov approved the state programme “The Year of Healthy Children”, which includes measures directed at upbringing healthy and educated children.

At the session, it was underlined that adoption of programme is logic continuation of social oriented state policy, priority of which is to upbringing harmonically and physically developed youth. It was noted that all forces and opportunities of the government and public should mobilized to ensure full implementation of the programme.

The session participants said that the measures of the programme meet interests of the party voters and UzLiDeP plans to actively participate in its realization. Members of UzLiDeP noted that each citizen and all population should participate in implementation of the programme as protection of maternity and childhood should be on their focus.

The session noted that the state programme “The Year of Healthy Children” determines measures on further improving legislative and normative base to improve organizational-legal terms for forming healthy and harmonically developed people. UzLiDeP faction noted that improvement of legislation will help to upbringing healthy and developed generation and the faction will pay special attention to measures on further improving legislation on this direction.

The session also considered issues on supporting youth families, protecting maternity and childhood, strengthening health of children and mothers, creating conditions for self-actualization of women, forming healthy conditions in families.

UzLiDeP said that it activities will also focus on improving conditions and healthcare, education, culture, social welfare establishments. The party noted that funds allocated to development of these institutions and introduction of advanced technologies on upbringing of healthy children should be effectively used.

Members of UzLiDeP faction said that it is important to fully implementation of all measures of the programme and determined its plans on realization of the programme.
