Uzkimyosanoat and China Coal Discuss Advanced Coal Processing Project

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Odil Temirov, Chairman of the Board of Uzkimyosanoat, held talks with a Chinese delegation led by Liu Goshen, Chairman of China Coal Resources Development Group.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between «UzKimYoSanOat» and China Coal Resources Development Group. Special attention was given to the implementation of a project for producing high value-added products using CTO (coal-to-olefins) technology — advanced coal processing to obtain olefins and other chemical products.

It was noted that the application of advanced technologies enables the creation of new industrial cooperation chains and significantly increases the efficiency of coal processing.

China Coal Resources Development Group is one of the largest state-owned energy companies in the People’s Republic of China. Its activities encompass coal mining and processing, as well as the development of a fully integrated industrial cluster in the coal and energy sectors.
