Uzhydromet: The amount of dust in the air in two districts of Tashkent is assessed as “dangerous”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzhydromet reported today that in two districts of the capital a significant excess of the permissible amount of fine particles in the air was recorded.

Air pollution by fine particles (PM 2.5) in Tashkent between 16:00 and 17:00 is:

Yunusabad district, Badamzar street - 133 μg/m3;

Chilanzar district, Peoples’ Friendship Square - 171 µg/m3.

The amount of dust in the air at the above locations is assessed as “hazardous” according to the AQI indicator – RM 2.5.
