UzHydromet Issues Warning of Heavy Rain, Strong Winds, and Snowfall in Several Regions of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of Uzbekistan has issued an urgent warning regarding adverse weather conditions expected in the country in the coming days.

According to UzHydromet, rain is forecast across almost the entire territory of the republic during the week, with fog in some areas.

In certain regions, heavy showers and strong winds are possible.

In the northern and mountainous areas, precipitation may occur as rain mixed with snow, accompanied by falling temperatures and frost.

Avalanche risks remain in mountainous regions.

UzHydromet urges the public and relevant authorities to take the forecasted conditions into account and observe safety measures.
