UzGeorangMetLITI transferred to State Committee for Geology

On 24 July 2017, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev handed over the State Unitary Enterprise UzGeorangMetLITI from the system of the State Architecture Committee to the system of State Geology Committee.
Uzbek leader signed a resolution “On measures to improve management of scientific research and design and survey work in the field of industrial development of deposits of ore minerals”.
The resolution approved the main tasks and directions of activity of UzGEORANGMETLITI.
The enterprise will develop pre-project and design and survey documentation for extraction and processing of ore minerals, primarily precious and non-ferrous metals, as well as uranium for mining and metallurgical industry.
UzGeorangMetLITI will develop effective design solutions in the field of integrated development of deposits with complex mining and geological conditions on the basis of an analysis of the achievements of world science and practice.
The enterprise will carry out applied and innovative research works in the field of mining technology and complex processing of mineral raw materials, taking into account the maximum extraction of basic and related valuable components.
