UzCargo Confirms RA3 International Status for Cargo Exports to the United Kingdom
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — UzCargo, the cargo operator of Uzbekistan Airports, has successfully passed the revalidation of its RA3 (Regulated Agent Third Country) international status, confirming its authorization to prepare cargo and mail for shipment to the United Kingdom.
The RA3 status is granted to cargo terminals outside Europe following an independent audit conducted by EU- or UK-accredited auditors. The decision to issue the status is made after verifying that the terminal meets European cargo transport standards. This year’s revalidation was carried out in connection with the relocation of the UzCargo terminal to a new site.
“Obtaining RA3 status is an important milestone in strengthening Uzbekistan’s position on the international air cargo map. We now have the capability to ship cargo directly to the United Kingdom, opening new opportunities for exports and transit, and enhancing confidence in our terminal among global airlines and clients,” UzCargo stated.
The confirmation of RA3 status reinforces Uzbekistan Airports Cargo’s reputation as a reliable strategic partner for airlines in Central Asia.
