Uzbektelecom and Ribbon Communications Sign Memorandum on Cybersecurity and Anti-Spoofing System Implementation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his working visit to the United States, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov held a meeting with Bruce McClelland, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ribbon Communications, and Leon Tylevich, President for Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

During the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing cooperation in the field of telecommunications and strengthening cybersecurity.

Under the signed document, the sides plan to implement an anti-spoofing system within Uzbektelecom’s networks, as well as to develop and apply advanced cybersecurity solutions.
