Uzbekoziqovqatholding, GMV sign memorandum of understanding

Holding company Uzbekoziqovqatholding (Uzbek Food Holding) and Dutch Manufacturers of Machines for Food Processing and Packaging signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the sphere of agriculture, food, packaging and processing industries.
According to Gazeta.uz, the delegation of GMV led by its President Theo Bruinsma paid a visit to Uzbekistan. The GMV delegation visited Tashkent and Samarkand cities.
During the negotiations, the sides considered issues of establishing cooperation in creation of trade-logistic centers with use of Dutch technologies on sorting, processing, freezing and storing fruits and vegetables.
The sides also discussed issues of organization of production of fruits and vegetables with high added value, packaging products, labs, knowledge centers, etc.
