Uzbekneftegaz Records Commercial Gas Inflows at Five Wells

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekneftegaz has reported commercial inflows of natural gas at five wells across several fields in the country.

At the Yangi Kultak field in Muborak District, exploratory well No. 5 and appraisal production well No. 10 were drilled to a depth of 3,200 meters and demonstrated commercial gas inflows of approximately 245,000 cubic meters per day each. The produced gas is being routed to the Muborak Oil and Gas Production Directorate.

At the Marvarid field in the Shurtan area, drilling of exploratory well No. 4 reached a depth of 3,400 meters. Testing confirmed a commercial gas inflow of 450,000 to 500,000 cubic meters per day, with production directed to the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Directorate.

In Bukhara Region, at the Yangi Olot field, exploratory well No. 12 was drilled to a depth of 2,400 meters. Preliminary estimates indicate a daily inflow of around 200,000 cubic meters of natural gas, while testing is still ongoing.

In the Ustyurt region, a new promising field named Qiziljar has been identified, where a well drilled to a depth of 5,000 meters recorded a commercial gas inflow.

In addition, repair and restoration works at the Shimoliy Berdaq field have yielded results, with exploratory well No. 7 delivering a commercial gas inflow after rehabilitation.
