Uzbekneftegaz, Italian delegation consider cooperation issues

Uzbekneftegaz national holding company held a meeting with the delegation of Italy, which included Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Uzbekistan Riccardo Manara and management of ENERCO Distribuzione S.p.A. on 19 February 2014.
The press service of Uzbekneftegaz said that the sides considered perspectives of bilateral cooperation in oil and gas sector.
Ambassador Riccardo Manara underlined high interest of Italian companies to work in the market of Uzbekistan, including in such perspective industry as fuel and energy.
ENERCO Distribuzione S.p.A. works in the sphere of transportation of gas, introduction of system on accounting consumption of resources, technical maintenance, construction and repair of gas transportation network.
Representatives of ENERCO Distribuzione S.p.A. made several proposals, underlining high economic potential of Uzbekistan and favourable investment climate. The sides reached agreed to continue dialogue on perspectives of cooperation.
