With the launch of the plant, among the synthetic products, the production of synthetic GTL kerosene is envisaged (in accordance with Appendix 1 of ASTM D7566). At present, it is allowed in a ratio of up to 50% with the Jet A-1 jet fuel obtained on the basis of this crude oil.

At the same time, Uzbekneftegaz GTL is actively working to organize cooperation with such world companies as Boeing, Airbus, GE aviation, Rolls-Royce Pratt & Whitney, to jointly study the possibility of using 100% synthetic kerosene in civil aviation.

Along with this, the Uzbekneftegaz GTL plant became a member of the US ASTM International as an organizational structure of the technical committee for Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels and Lubricants - D02.

ASTM International is an international organization that develops and publishes voluntary standards for materials, products, systems and services. ASTM supports about 12,000 standards. ASTM Standards consists of 80 volumes.

More than 5,000 ASTM standards are adopted outside the United States as national standards, and more than 60 countries use ASTM standards as the basis for their regulatory frameworks.

Cooperation with ASTM International will allow Uzbekneftegaz GTL to take part in the development, updating and approval of international standards, which will increase the authority and recognition of both the company itself and the oil and gas sector of the republic as a whole.

Uzbekneftegaz GTL became the first and only organizational member of ASTM International in Uzbekistan with the right to vote when reviewing standards on behalf of the company.

This cooperation will also make it possible to make the necessary proposals and carry out practical work on the recognition and approval of synthetic kerosene produced by Uzbekneftegaz GTL at the international level as a ready-made fuel for aviation.
