Uzbekneftegaz Explores Innovations with Upwing Energy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz, Abdugani Sanginov, met with the President and CEO of the U.S.-based Upwing Energy, Herman Artinian, to discuss opportunities for increasing production at underperforming gas wells using modern technologies.

Earlier in January, the two sides held an online brainstorming session, during which Upwing Energy specialists presented solutions aimed at enhancing the productivity of low-maintenance wells.

At the initial stage of collaboration, Uzbekneftegaz analysts reviewed geological and technical data to conduct preliminary studies.

During the meeting, the results of these analyses were discussed, and the next phases of joint project implementation were outlined.

Both parties expressed strong interest in continuing cooperation to implement innovative technologies, improve the efficiency of existing wells, and optimize production processes in Uzbekistan’s gas sector.
