“Uzbekneftegaz” Discusses AI Implementation with Schlumberger

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Rustam Sherov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz,” held a meeting with Kari Ann H. Kjolaas-Holland, Executive Vice President for Digital Services and Operations of the American company Schlumberger.

During the talks, the parties discussed the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies and digital solutions in the company’s operations.

Particular attention was given to the modernization of geological databases using AI, as well as the development of a GenAI chatbot designed to enhance the efficiency of engineering and analytical processes.

The creation of a specialized Center for Seismic Data Processing and Interpretation was also discussed.

Schlumberger representatives highlighted the company’s extensive international experience in organizing and managing such centers, which will enable “Uzbekneftegaz” to apply best global practices in its operations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen the partnership and accelerate the adoption of advanced digital and intelligent technologies in the company’s production and geological processes.
