Uzbekneftegaz, Bluestone Group discuss perspectives of cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Ulugbek Sayidov met with the Executive Director of the Bluestone Group Shlomo Wolf.

During the meeting, the foreign party was acquainted with the activities of Uzbekneftegaz. In turn, the foreign party provided information on the activities of the Bluestone Group in the oil industry, in the construction of hotels, mining, etc.

At the talks, representatives of the Bluestone Group expressed their interest in cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz in promising projects on the terms of equity financing. In this regard, the foreign party was invited to participate in the modernization of the Fergana refinery on the terms of a trustee and the construction of a gas chemical complex using MTO technology as an investor.

In addition, representatives of the Bluestone Group were invited to take part in a business forum that is being organized by Uzbekneftegaz for potential participants in the implementation of projects for the deep processing of hydrocarbons in May 2019.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to meet again and in the case of interest of foreign investors, to discuss issues of joint implementation of projects.
