Uzbekneftegaz and SOCAR Discuss Development of Joint Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz, held a meeting with Arzu Javadova, Vice President of SOCAR, to discuss the current status and future prospects of bilateral cooperation.

The parties reviewed the progress of ongoing joint projects, noting that significant results have been achieved since their previous meeting. Specifically, a Joint Activity Agreement has been signed, and all necessary corporate approvals have been secured.

Particular attention was paid to the development of the strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which serves as the foundation for intensifying joint initiatives within the oil and gas industry.

The Azerbaijani side spoke highly of the positive momentum in the cooperation. Following the negotiations, both companies reaffirmed their commitment to continuing their joint efforts and further developing their active projects.
