Uzbekneftegaz and ONGC Videsh Limited sign cooperation agreement

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An agreement on cooperation between Uzbekneftegaz and ONGC Videsh Limited, a subsidiary of ONGC, the largest state oil and gas corporation of India, was signed, the press service of the Uzbek company said.

The delegation of Uzbekneftegaz on the eve of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to India, took part in a business forum with more than 100 representatives of government departments and business circles of Uzbekistan, as well as an exhibition national products "Made in Uzbekistan", which were held in New Delhi.

During the visit, negotiations were held between a representative of Uzbekneftegaz and the exploration director of ONGC Videsh Limited, Sudkhir Sharma. The sides discussed prospects for development of bilateral cooperation in the field of exploration in the investment blocks of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as abroad.

Following the talks, the parties decided to sign a Cooperation Agreement and a Confidentiality Agreement, providing for joint preparation of specific cooperation proposals within 4 months by exchanging information on investment blocks of the Republic of Uzbekistan and studying it in detail, using modern software products and the experience of ONGC Videsh Limited .
