Uzbekneftegaz and Jereh Group Agree to Expand High-Tech Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekneftegaz JSC held a working meeting with a delegation from China’s Jereh Group, one of the country’s leading producers of high-tech equipment for the oil and gas industry.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed ways to deepen their current cooperation, accelerate joint projects, and introduce advanced technological solutions into Uzbekistan’s oil and gas sector.

Special attention was given to ensuring stable natural gas production and the efficient development of existing reserves.

To date, 36 small compressor units have already been constructed and put into operation as part of joint projects, boosting the productivity of oil and gas production enterprises. The delegation presented cutting-edge drilling technologies, energy-efficient equipment, and service support systems.

The parties also agreed to open a Jereh Service Center in Uzbekistan, ensure uninterrupted supplies of spare parts, and launch professional training programs for local specialists.

Additionally, they explored opportunities to expand cooperation with Uzbekkhimmash JSC to produce import-substituting equipment and create new jobs.

Following the meeting, the parties decided to establish expert-level working groups to implement joint projects and practical programs.

These agreements aim to strengthen the technological independence of the industry, improve production efficiency, and further reinforce the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China in the oil and gas sector.
