Uzbekneftegaz and Itochu intend to establish cooperation in the oil and gas sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegaz hosted a meeting with the director, general manager of Itochu (Japan) on international business development group Ryutaro Mashiko.

It was noted that this is not the first meeting with representatives of the company "Itochu", which for many years represented on the market of Uzbekistan and cooperates in the implementation of large industrial projects.

In turn, the foreign side was invited to establish a mutually beneficial partnership in the oil and gas sector. Of particular interest to the company are projects for the deep processing of hydrocarbons.

Foreign guests were given information on MTO-1 and MTO-2 projects. The possibility of the company’s participation as an investor in the production and sale of final products was noted.

On the proposal of the Uzbek side, the foreign delegation expressed its interest in investing projects.
