Uzbekneftegaz and foreign companies sign agreements

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A series of negotiations and signing of documents between Uzbekneftegaz and foreign companies aimed at expanding mutually beneficial cooperation was held within the framework of the 22nd International Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU 2018".

In particular, on 16 May, Uzbekneftegaz and SOCAR and BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on exploring the possibility of joint exploration and development of deposits in the Republic of Uzbekistan and a Memorandum of Understanding on exploring the feasibility of geological exploration on investment blocks of the Republic of Uzbekistan .

Also, Uzbekneftegas and KNOC Ferghana II Ltd inked a Protocol of the date of entry into force of the Agreement on geological exploration at Dekhkanabad and Tashkurgan investment blocks of the South-Western-Gissar region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The implementation of the signed documents will make it possible to apply advanced foreign technologies and methods to improve the efficiency of hydrocarbon search and extraction, can facilitate the discovery of new deposits, and also improve the skills of domestic specialists.
