Uzbekneftegaz and Citibank Discuss Expanding Financial Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — JSC Uzbekneftegaz held talks with representatives of American bank Citibank.

The two parties have been cooperating since 2021, when Citibank acted as one of the arrangers of the Uzbek company's debut Eurobond placement on international capital markets.

At the meeting, Uzbekneftegaz's financial results for 2025 were presented, along with information on positive changes in the company's credit rating and systemic measures to strengthen its financial resilience.

The parties also discussed prospects for joint work in the areas of geological exploration, drilling programs, and the financing of investment projects. Both sides confirmed their mutual interest in supporting strategic projects and further expanding financial cooperation.
