Uzbekneftegaz and Air Products discuss prospects of cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --Negotiations were held between the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Bakhodirjon Sidikov and the Executive Vice President of Air Products Samir Serhan.

The heads of the enterprises of the oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan and branches of Air Products in Europe and Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS and others also took part in them. This is reported by the press service of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz"

The meeting discussed the conditions for creating a joint venture for production of technical and rare gases. This initiative was proposed during last year’s visit of the President of Air Products, Seyfi Gassemi, to Uzbekistan. Since then, the parties have conducted joint marketing research and studied the need for technical and rare gases in the Republic of Uzbekistan and in foreign markets.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the work done and agreed to prepare an agreement on the establishment of a joint venture for the production and distribution of technical and rare gases for signing in March of this year.

At the same time, within the framework of the meeting, representatives of Air Products were invited to take part in a business forum organized within the framework of the International Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - Oil & Gas Uzbekistan 2019” and a conference in May of this year to define the concept of petrochemical cluster.
