Consequently, the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz held an expanded meeting of the Management Board on ensuring stable operation by gradually easing quarantine requirements, the results of a 7-month forecast, priorities for 9 months and for this year, and also stressed that work should be organized with discipline. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board touched upon the situation with the coronavirus pandemic and emphasized the need to prevent the spread of infection in areas where construction and installation work is underway, to ensure the continuity of work in rotational mode at mines and wells.
Also, despite the softening of quarantine requirements, instructions were given to unconditionally comply with the requirements of social distance, wearing masks, disinfection and other sanitary and hygienic requirements at enterprises for the extraction and processing of natural gas and oil depots.
After that, the Chairman of the Management Board turned to the main issues on the agenda and criticized the failure to fulfill the 7-month plan for natural gas production, well operation, production of liquefied gas, and export of products.
It was said about the incomplete fulfillment of the tasks set for the export of products: for example, the Uz-Kor Gas Chemical allowed a lag from the forecast indicators by US$85.3 million, the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department - by US$3.9 million, the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant - US$2.7 million.
In this regard, the Chairman of the Board instructed the Commerce Department to develop proposals to support exports during a pandemic and close the export gap and to ensure exports in the amount of US$252 million by the end of this year.
Topical issues in this regard were discussed at an extended meeting of the Board. First of all, it was said that in order to overcome these shortcomings, it is necessary to change the style of work of industry leaders, implement new ideas, implement new projects, achieve labor productivity, start clustering and deep processing.
It was said that, first of all, it is necessary to prevent corruption, timely pay wages to employees, encourage dedicated employees who actively increase production and provide them with financial support.
The meeting instructed to commission 134 wells and repair 549 wells by the end of the year, increase natural gas reserves to 20 billion cubic meters and gas condensate to 620,000 tons, and also commission 10 more wells.
The Chairman of the Management Board dwelled on the activities of the heads of the oil depots. The heads of the Andijan and Urgench oil depots were reprimanded for improper organization of work and inability to improve the financial condition of the enterprise.
The Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, heads of Departments and the refinery, oil depots were informed about the issues discussed at the meeting and the implementation of the assigned tasks.
