Uzbekneftegaz: A working group led by the Chairman of the Board examined the status of work in Gazli

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A working group led by Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mehriddin Abdullayev examined the state of construction work on the Uchkir propane-butane mixture separation unit of the Gazli oil and gas production department, the Uzbekneftegaz press service reports.

It should be noted that as a result of the implementation of this project worth $ 49.4 million financed from its own resources, Uzbekneftegaz JSC plans to produce 80 thousand tons of liquefied natural gas and 37 thousand tons of gas condensate per year.

To date, 13 import and 35 local contracts have been concluded for the purchase of equipment and material and technical resources, US$12.3 million and 64.7 billion soums have been allocated for their financing.

After reviewing the construction work, Mehriddin Abdullaev criticized that the construction work carried out as part of a major project was delayed by the deadlines, and due attention was not paid to the quality of work.

The head of the Mubarakneftegazmontazh company, Bahrom Kushshaev, has been warned that construction work in special rooms for fire safety, kitchen and telecommunication operators is not carried out at a high level and defects are allowed.

Two weeks were given to continue construction work in a quality manner and to make changes. It was also noted that if these shortcomings are not eliminated, measures will be taken with respect to the head of the Mubarakneftegazmontazh company.

In addition, the management of the Gazli Oil and Gas Production Directorate has been instructed to increase the efficiency of work at the Tumaris and Doyakhotin fields, and also to create all conditions for employees to perform quality work and to fully comply with quarantine rules.
