Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On behalf of the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC Mehriddin Abdullayev, in order to increase the volume of natural gas production, workers working in the fields and in wells work on a rotational basis. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.
Food, special clothing and special vehicles are provided to employees working in accordance with quarantine rules.
The Janubiy Tandircha field, located in Guzar district of Kashkadarya region, owned by Uzbekneftegaz, also operates on a rotational basis.
As of 1 July 2020, natural gas is being produced from 35 wells in the field. Drilling works and capital repairs are being carried out at 6 wells.
So far, 830 million cubic meters of natural gas and 9,800 tonnes of gas condensate have been produced from this field. The stimulation works were completed and put into operation in 24 wells, which resulted in the production of an additional 4.1 million cubic meters of natural gas.
To increase the volume of natural gas production at this field and for separate connection of loop pipelines operating through one pipeline from 8 gas wells, an additional 7.8 km of gas pipelines with a diameter of 114 mm were installed and put into operation.
A gas pipeline 1.77 km long and 377 mm in diameter was also installed to route gas extracted from the wells of the 2nd gathering point to the gas pretreatment unit.
As a result of the work carried out, it became possible to extract mechanical connections, condensate and technical liquid from natural gas produced from wells at the Janubiy Tandircha field, and the difference in hydraulic resistance and pressure in gas pipelines was reduced, which led to an increase in natural gas production by 220,000 cubic meters.
In 2020, it is planned to extract 1.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 20,500 tonnes of gas condensate from the Janubiy Tandircha field. In the second half of the year, it is planned to drill and put into operation 8 wells, and it is expected that an additional 33.3 million cubic meters of natural gas and 0.8 thousand tonnes of gas condensate will be produced from these wells.
At present, in accordance with the Program for Increasing Hydrocarbon Production in cooperation with UzLITIneftegaz JSC, pre-design studies are being carried out for the construction of a booster compressor station at the field.
