The project envisages measures to expand capacities of the plant by four times. The project will help to increase production of polymers from current 125,000 to 500,000 tonnes a year.
As a result, broad opportunities will be created for the further development of the petrochemical industry. The project stipulates processing of valuable raw materials - synthetic naphtha and the development of new types of polyethylene and polypropylene.
According to scientists, the proposed solution for the direction of synthetic naphtha GTL for the production of olefins with the subsequent production of new grades of polymers will ensure its most optimal use.
