Uzbekiston Temir Yollari transports 15.6m passengers in Jan-Sep

The railway company said that it transported 50.3 million tonnes of cargo from its stations, which grew by 2.6% year-on-year.

In nine months of 2015, the company rendered export services for US$262 million. The growth rate made up 0.2% compared to the same period of 2014.

The companies of Uzbekistan Railways produced industrial goods for 300.8 billion soums on comparable prices.

According to investment programme, the company used capital investments for US$609.2 million in nine months of 2015. Some US$302.8 million were utilized within the construction of new electrified railway Angren-Pap.
