Uzbekiston Temir Yollari starts selling tickets with use of Visa cards

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Temir Yollari (Uzbekistan Railways) and Bank Ipak Yoli launched a project on accepting payments for electronic tickets in foreign currency through the international payment system Visa.

The project is being implemented with a view to developing the tourism industry in Uzbekistan and providing additional services for passengers.

Uzbekiston Temir Yollari noted that due to the fact that the system is launched in a test mode, the return of unused electronic travel documents (tickets) will be made only at the cash desks of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari in the territory of Uzbekistan.
