Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Temir Yollari (Uzbekistan Railways) plans to purchase new electric trains. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for Tourism.

According to the committee, Uzbekiston Temir Yollari is in talks with TALGO (Spain) and HYUNDAI (South Korea) for the purchase of new electric trains.

Tashkent plant for the construction and repair of passenger cars are working on the repair and modernization of 5 seats cars with a total capacity of 240 seats. These cars will be put into operation on the "Shark" trains until the end of September 2018.
