Uzbekistan's Tax Officials Study Russian Counterparts' Experience in Online Income Monitoring

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Uzbekistan's Tax Committee is on a working visit to Moscow to study the experience of Russia's Federal Tax Service.

On the first day of the visit, the two sides discussed approaches to monitoring the income of bloggers and others conducting activities online. Particular attention was paid to engagement with the media community as a means of raising the profile of the tax service, improving transparency, and strengthening public trust.

Russian colleagues also presented practices for implementing service-oriented approaches aimed at creating user-friendly services, simplifying procedures, and ensuring a more comfortable experience for taxpayers.

The exchange of experience will allow the Uzbek side to examine best practices and consider opportunities for their further application in the work of tax authorities, contributing to improved tax administration in Uzbekistan.
