Uzbekistan’s Tax Committee Paid 3 Billion Soums to Citizens for Reporting Violations via Soliq Hamkor System

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January 2026, the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan paid citizens 3 billion soums as rewards for reporting violations of tax legislation through the Soliq Hamkor system.

During the first month of the year, tax authorities received 12,486 reports from the public. Inspections confirmed violations in 99% of cases.

Most complaints concerned the refusal to issue cash receipts, with 10,879 reports filed. Citizens also reported refusals to accept payment by bank cards (510 cases) and unjustified price increases during cashless transactions (34 cases).

Following these reports, tax authorities conducted over 5,000 on-site inspections. As a result, 4,782 informants received payments equal to 20% of the fines collected.

The statistics demonstrate high citizen engagement in monitoring tax compliance. In 2025, the total amount of rewards reached 33.7 billion soums. About 1,700 reports received in January were not accepted for review, as they concerned duplicate reports or entrepreneurs who had already been inspected.

Authorities note that the Soliq Hamkor mechanism continues to effectively encourage public participation in tax oversight, enhancing transparency and discipline in the tax system.
