Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Enchanted by the Beauty and Tourism Potential of Issyk-Kul
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, expressed his admiration for Issyk-Kul, noting that this Kyrgyz gem is poised to become an international tourist hub attracting visitors from around the world in the near future.
During his participation in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, he visited the picturesque Issyk-Kul Lake.
In a rare display of emotion for an official, the prime minister spoke not as a statesman but as someone genuinely impressed by the beauty and atmosphere of Issyk-Kul.
He recalled that he first visited the location just four years ago and has since observed the resort flourish: active construction projects are underway, facilities are being renovated, new developments are being created, and all of this is carried out with genuine care, not merely formally.
Aripov emphasized that he considers Issyk-Kul a true gift of nature.
He expressed confidence that the resort will soon achieve world-class status, highlighting that all necessary conditions are already in place: a pristine lake, mountains, fresh air, and most importantly—sincere hospitality, genuine and unique to this region.
