Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 July 2025, the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan reached 37.9 million, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The data show that the country is home to 18.8 million women and 19.1 million men. The urban population stands at 19.3 million, while the rural population is 18.6 million.

In the first half of the year, 95,300 marriages and 23,300 divorces were registered.

In terms of external migration, the balance was negative: 700 people arrived in the country, while 5,600 left.
