Uzbekistan’s Population Density Reaches 84.8 People per km²
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 October 2025, the average population density in Uzbekistan was 84.8 people per square kilometer, according to the National Statistics Committee.
This represents an increase of 1.6 people per km² compared to the same date last year.
For comparison, in 2021 the density was 78.1 people per km², in 2022 – 79.8, in 2023 – 81.5, and in 2024 – 83.2. These figures reflect a steady growth in the country’s population density.
