Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chinese city of Wuxi hosted a joint event organized by the Wuxi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, dedicated to cooperation in the production of biomedical products and medical equipment.

The Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency of Uzbekistan, A. Azizov, provided a detailed overview of the favorable conditions for investors in Uzbekistan, including tax and customs incentives, as well as information on pharmaceutical industrial zones, particularly the Tashkent Pharma Park project.

The Chinese side presented technological solutions from leading companies specializing in the production of medical equipment — Welkin Industry System Engineering; biotechnology — NEST Biotechnology; diagnostic medical technology — Wuxi BioHermes Bio & Medical Technology; medical devices — Wuxi Cansonic Medical Science & Technology; and ultrasound diagnostic systems — Chison Medical Technologies.

During the event, the parties discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation, including product registration in Uzbekistan, technology transfer, and the establishment of efficient logistics chains.
