Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Development Agency Discusses Cooperation with BeOne Medicines

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 9 February 2026, Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with a delegation from the Chinese company BeOne Medicines.

During the meeting, the Agency’s representatives provided a detailed overview of projects implemented within the framework of the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster, as well as ongoing reforms aimed at its development.

The discussion covered legal, institutional, and financial incentives available to investors and partners, infrastructure support measures, preferences for local producers in government procurement, and product registration mechanisms designed to facilitate entry into export markets.

Following the talks, the parties agreed on practical areas for cooperation and planned to address technical and analytical issues in future meetings.

In addition, the delegation was introduced to the operations of Grand Pharm Logistics, examining its logistics system, storage and distribution processes, and potential for servicing both domestic and international markets.
