Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Development Agency Discusses Cooperation Prospects with South Korean Delegation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 7 February 2026, the Pharmaceutical Development Agency of Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Korea, which included representatives from Gangwon Technopark and Yonsei University. The visit was organized with the support of the U-Enter Center for Innovation Entrepreneurship.

Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency, presented the operations of the “Tashkent Pharma Park” pharmaceutical cluster, highlighting its areas of activity, infrastructure capabilities, investment potential, and the conditions established for foreign investors.

During the discussion, the Korean delegation shared the experience of Gangwon Technopark and Yonsei University in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical technologies, research, and innovation.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed on the further development of cooperation in pharmaceuticals and medical technologies, exploring opportunities for practical collaboration in the future, including joint projects and knowledge exchange.
