Uzbekistan’s Pharmaceutical Delegation Completes Official Visit to Türkiye

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From December 14 to 17, 2025, a delegation of representatives from Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical sector conducted an official visit to Türkiye, organized by the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry.

The primary goal of the visit was to improve production processes at domestic enterprises, implement international standards, enhance competitiveness, and develop bilateral cooperation with leading Turkish pharmaceutical companies.

During the visit, the delegation gained in-depth insight into the operations of advanced Turkish pharmaceutical and dietary supplement manufacturers, studied innovative technologies, quality control systems, and the experience of export-oriented activities.

Particular attention was given to a meeting of the Turkish Pharmaceutical Industry Council, organized by TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye), where current trends in the Turkish market, production and export issues, and prospects for collaboration with Uzbek companies were discussed.

The delegation visited Abdi İbrahim, Berko İlaç, Atabay Kimya, Humanis Sağlık (Pharmactive), Koçak Farma, and Unirex, familiarizing themselves with modern production processes and practices for entering international markets.

Following the visit, both sides agreed to continue exploring opportunities for joint projects and to strengthen cooperation between pharmaceutical enterprises in Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
