Uzbekistan’s Passenger Car Production Rises Nearly 9% in January–November 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2025, Uzbek enterprises produced 419,338 passenger cars, an 8.9% increase compared to 385,101 vehicles in the same period of 2024.

The most notable growth was seen in the specialized vehicle segment, which more than doubled—from 23,031 units in January–November 2024 to 49,372 vehicles in 2025, a rise of 114.4%.

Production by individual models showed mixed trends. Cobalt output decreased by 1.1% to 148,094 vehicles, Damas fell by 7.2% to 85,384 units, and Onix production dropped by 20.1% to 29,099 vehicles. Meanwhile, Tracker production increased by 17.4% to 47,804 units. Strong growth was observed for KIA, with production up 26.8% to 24,507 units, and Chery, up 36.9% to 8,627 cars.

The most striking growth was recorded for Haval and BYD brands. Haval production grew 3.6 times—from 2,473 to 8,891 vehicles—while BYD output increased nearly eightfold, from 2,198 to 17,510 cars. Production of the new Tank 500 model also began during this period, with 50 units manufactured.

Positive trends were also seen in the truck segment, where production rose 31% to 4,081 units in January–November 2025.
