Uzbekistan’s Para-Athletes Conclude World Championship with 12 Medals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The World Para Athletics Championships concluded in New Delhi, India, after nine days of competition.

Approximately 1,400 athletes from 109 countries participated, including the national team of Uzbekistan. By the end of the tournament, Uzbek athletes had won a total of 12 medals: five gold, five silver, and two bronze.

Gold Medals:
Yokuthon Kholbekova (T12, long jump)
Jasur Khuzhaev (F32, shot put)
Karomat Omonova (F46, shot put)
Fahriddin Khamraev (T12, 400m sprint)
Temurbek Giyazov (T64, high jump)

Silver Medals:
Kubaro Khakimova (F41, shot put)
Shakhina Yigitalieva (F46, javelin throw)
Yorkinbek Odilov (F57, javelin throw)
Bobur Omonov (F41, shot put)
Madina Mukhtorova (F40, shot put)

Bronze Medals:
Tolibboy Yuldoshev (F37, shot put)
Navruza Akhmatova (F41, discus throw)

Uzbekistan’s national team finished the New Delhi 2025 World Championships in 14th place in the overall medal standings.
