Uzbekistan’s NOC Discusses Sports Cooperation with Hungary
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, Oybek Kasimov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with József Rózsa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Uzbekistan.
The parties exchanged views on prospects for implementing joint projects in the field of sports. The Hungarian ambassador noted the significant achievements of Uzbek sports in recent years and expressed readiness to support the further development of bilateral cooperation.
In turn, Oybek Kasimov emphasized that studying Hungary’s experience could positively influence the development of team and aquatic sports in Uzbekistan.
The meeting also addressed opportunities for organizing friendly matches between national teams, joint training camps, and the exchange of specialists.
